"Inspirations" by Iron Petal
We hope that you are completely intrigued by our products. We have designed a line of home accessories that are quite beautiful and very different. In a constant quest for fulfillment in our work, we have ventured through many forms of sculpture, painting and the use of many unique and creative forms of art. We have continued to evolve in our broad use of media to achieve self satisfaction in our work. The continued search has broadened our horizons as well as experience, but not necessarily our focus. It was not until we decided that it was not about us but about the talents that God gave us that we would find our heart's placement. As we have explored our talents we have tried to put, foremost, our relationship with God. Through prayer and contemplation He put on our hearts a scripture which has been the cornerstone which we are building our future work. I Thessalonians 4: 11-12 states: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependant on anybody." This scripture came to us at a time of turmoil and fear for the future. We took this scripture to heart and began to try and inspire others with hope and faith through our work, just as God has done for us through his constant evidence in our lives.
Our work is a culmination of custom photographs taken on our travels that inspired us coupled with quotes or scripture that do the same. We collage them with handmade papers, textures and paint finishes to complete an original art form that we get excited about, one that touches our hearts.
It is our hope and mission that they touch yours as well!
